| Corporations, LLCs, and registered Limited Partnerships doing business in Maine must continuously maintain a Registered Agent with a physical Maine street address (a PO Box alone does not qualify). The agent may be an individual resident of Maine or an entity authorized to do business in Maine, must be available at that address during normal business hours to accept service of process, and receives official state notices on the entity's behalf.
